Who does the clipping and tagging?

The Clippn clip elves, of course. Actually, we have full-time editors and taggers who are dedicated to turning as much of your footage into ready-for-sale clips as they can. These are stock footage professionals who work at the highest industry standards – we do not use random taggers, crowd-sourcing, or robots.

 First, the editors curate and edit your footage: they decide what should become a clip based on pre-defined distributor specs and their own judgment, select in & out points, color grade, adjust audio pans and levels, and export. Then the editors give you feedback on the upload package they’ve just worked on. This includes positive reinforcement of what you’re doing right as well as constructive tips, if needed, that you can apply when you shoot to increase volume and quality (thereby increasing chances for sales).

 FYI, we get asked a lot about Artificial Intelligence, and while there are some things that AI can do well or assist with, we find that we can achieve the highest quality, and increase the times your clips are found and sold on the sites, with our human editors and taggers.
